MIIS and SQL Server

Does anyone have any experience with Microsoft Identity Integration Server wrt SQL Server? The database is not that big but it seems to be using a huge amount of resources and slowing down everything else on the server. Is this normal behavior? Has anyone
else had problems having an MIIS database in a shared environment?
I don;t know about MIIS but thought this link http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...s/default.mspx would help to search for any information on gaining performance.
BTW what are the memory settings on SQL server?

MIIS 2003

Is there any way to make MIIS 2003 install with SQL 2005, or do I have to stay with SQL 2000 SP3 for all new MIIS 2003 implementations?
thanks,
Azin

I'm not sure anyone in this forum knows enough about MIIS to answer this. The forum is about SQL Integration Services (part of SQL 2005 product), not about Identity Integration Server.

(Sorry, I don't know if there is a forum for MIIS either).

|||So, is this the old DTS?|||This is the NEW Dts :D|||

Hey all

For completeness sake:

MIIS (Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003) will not currently install on SQL 2005 (but can be upgraded to SQL 2005). SQL 2005 is however NOT currently supported. This support should be added with MIIS 2003 SP2 (due to be release some time this year).

SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) - is the new DTS and is completely unrelated to MIIS. I'm sure there could be some way in which the two can compliment each other (creating transforms of data that MIIS can not natively connect to).

There is a dedicated MIIS forum on forums.microsoft.com.
