Mirror Disconnected - Database Upgraded

Hi

While a database upgrade schema changes were being made the Mirror became disconnected will this recover itself when it reconnects or will it be the case that we will have to copy the db files to the Mirror and set it up from scratch.

It was set up as a synchronise mirror

What sort fo changes were you running.

What errors are logged in the error log of the mirror and principal?

What kind of DB mirror mode you are running?

If in high availability mode then the committed transactions will be available on Mirror provided the redo queue has been applied there, if not until unless the transaction is written to disk and tranasfered to mirror it will not be available on other server.

Migrating to a new database server

I need to migrate the DTS, the jobs, users and everything from a
database on a Windows 2000 server (SQL 2000, upgraded from SQL 7), to
another (Windows Server 2003, SQL 2000). The databases that do not
already exist on the new server I can restore those from a backup just fine.
The ones that exist (master, model, msdb) I can't copy over from a
restore. It tells me that exclusive access could not be obtained
because the database is in use.
Is there an easy/straightforward way to get everything - especially DTS
and the batch jobs - from my old server to the new one?
Any advice appreciated.
